To limit our environmental impact, we have launched a major
modernization plan for our Condé-sur-Vire creamery.

Reducing our green gas emissions

Elle & Vire is committed to an ambitious decarbonisation project with a target date of 2032.

As a first step, our Condé-sur-Vire plant obtained ISO 50001 certification in 2024, demonstrating our commitment to energy management.

Results: between 2023 and 2024, energy consumption* decreased by 4%.

Reducing our water consumption

Meanwhile, the modernization project also aims to continuously reduce water consumption.

Results: between 2015 and 2023, water consumption* decreased by 28%.

Science Based Targets

In 2023, the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validated the “Well Below 2°C” emissions-reduction targets of Savencia Fromage & Dairy.

We are committed to reducing our greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 compared with 2019 by:
