Food Hotel Indonesia 2017

 

The 14th edition of the Food & Hotel Indonesia 2017 took place in Jakarta in Indonesia from the 5th to 8th of April. With an area of more than 35 000 m², 1600 exhibitors and more than 30 000 visitors, this exhibition is the main event of the hotel trade and catering industry international professionals who want to enter or strengthen their activity in this market. It was an occasion to attend to contests, workshops and exchange with professionals.

 

Once again, we are proud to be a partner of the most famous World Pastry Cup, Indonesian selection. The participants used our Elle & Vire Professionnel assortment such as the Excellence Whipping Cream, the newly launched Sublime Cream with Mascarpone as well as our butter and cheese ranges in their creations.

 

The entire Elle & Vire Professionnel team and the Chef Clement Nadeau from La Maison de la Crème Elle & Vire® were there on the booth of our partner PT Sukanda Djaya. On the program: meetings, tastings and even a Tea Time event!

 

New ! We organized for the first time a contest of plated desert, which was a great success. More than 50 candidates challenged their imagination using the Original American Cream Cheese, Sublime, Cream with Mascarpone and the All-Purpose butter. The candidates were noted on the arranging, the preparation according to professional standards, the service, the presentation and the taste. Congratulations to Tedy Kurniawan who won the gold medal and the trophy, and to all the other participants!

 

Workshop at the Fairmont

 

We organized a pastry workshop with the famous Fairmont Jakarta. It was a great success !Leading the formation, the chef of La Maison de la Crème Elle & Vire® Clément Nadeau revealed his secrets to realize the « Bora-Bora dessert », the « Riviera Cheesecake» and the « Pear and elderberry flower freshness ». Do not hesitate to taste them, these pastries are now on the menu of the Fairmont Jakarta’s Sapori Deli’s restaurant!
