To conclude 2020 with a positive tone, the Gault & Millau Guide has made every effort to continue supporting Chefs despite the health crisis and is launching the first Gault & Millau digital trophies!

It is in the sublime room of Pré Catelan, in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne, that our historical partner orchestrated this entirely digital awards ceremony.

The ceremony was filming on Thursday, December 10, 2020 and is fully accessible on the guide's website and on their social networks right now.

Boldness and creativity have always gone hand in hand, so Gault & Millau wanted to maintain the ceremony in order to encourage the profession around our common values.

Values ​​that we have shared with the guide's management for 8 years. Every year, we go to meet chefs, traveling the roads of France with the Gault & Millau Tour, and we support the projects of young entrepreneurial chefs with Dotation Jeunes Talents.

This link will be strengthened in 2020 by becoming a partner in the national launch of the guide and the awarding of trophies. A desire for the Elle & Vire Professionnel® brand to support the profession and to be as close as possible to our Chef Ambassadors.

In this special year for all of us, the editorial staff and management of Gault & Millau wanted to send a strong message. All marks awarded to restaurateurs will be similar or higher.

15 chefs, 15 kitchens, 15 stories of tables were honored during the digital awards ceremony, including the cuisine and the story of Christophe Hay, crowned Cook of the year 2021.

A beautiful moment of sharing and emotion for Christophe Hay, chef of the restaurant “La Maison d'à Côté”, proud of his Loire region and its terroir, who wanted to make the trip accompanied by his producers who participate every day at his side to the success of his dishes.

As a partner of the Pastry trophy, we would also like to congratulate Aurélien Rivoire, Pastry Chef of the Year 2021, who shines with his sweet creations both at the “Pavillon Ledoyen” and in all the restaurants of the Yannick Alléno group.

Congratulations to all the chefs in the 2021 Gault & Millau guide selection and in particular to Olivier Nasti who joins the very exclusive club of five toques for his restaurant Chambard.

We are pleased to invite you to watch this ceremony and share it with as many people as possible.

A big thank you and bravo to the guide's teams for the organization and for associating us with this great digital event.
