In 1984, Giorgio Battaglia and Cristina Bremer Rodriguez fell in love with the incredible landscapes of Los Cabos. In 1991, they opened the Ristorante Da Giorgio, where the Sunset MonaLisa is now located. The establishment quickly becomes a must-see for all those seeking a romantic setting. The place is truly charming: the terrace sculpted in rock oversees the waves with an exceptional view of Cabo San Lucas’ bay and the famous golden arch of Los Cabos (El Arco). Destroyed in 2001 by a hurricane, the restaurant reopened in 2004 with a new managing team.

Starred Chef Paolo Della Corte – who trained in part with Chefs Joël Robuchon (France) and Heston Blumenthal (UK) – features a creative Mediterranean cuisine mixing the best of Italian food with a Mexican twist. Meticulous on taste and textures, the Chef prepares pastas, mozzarella and bread himself every day. Among the courses à la carte, Nostra Burrata, the home-made burrata with pesto and tomato is a must-try and so are the Zuppetta di Frutti di Mare a selection of seafood with a lemongrass cream as well as the Tonno Campari e Mirtilli a Cortez sea tuna fish with caramelised chicory and Campari cranberries – Campari is an Italian liquor orange peel flavoured.

Ranked 4th in the “5 coolest restaurants in the world” (2014) according to The New York Times, the Sunset MonaLisa is the promise of an unforgettable moment. Viewing pleasure and delight of the taste buds are on the menu!
