The winners of the Best Artisan Butter Croissant in Spain at La Maison de la Crème!

Discover the 2 days of training at La Maison de la Crème

We are pleased to host 9 winners of the "Best Artisan Butter Croissant" competition in Spain, from 7 to 8 June 2017 at La Maison de la Crème Elle & Vire. This competition is organized by the School of Patisserie of the Union of Barcelona, of which we are partners since 2012.


Major Spanish Pastry Chefs were present: Toni Vera-Pastis.Canal, 2016 winner of the contest, but also Lluis Costa-Pastis.Vallflorida, Jordi Morello-Pastis.Ochiai, Abraham Balaguer-Celler Can Roca, Jesus Fuentes-Escola Hofmann, Albert Roca-AR Pastissers, Pablo Iglesias-Mama Framboise. The Lebanese Pastry Chef Nicolas Dahan was also present.


The Chefs came to take part in a workshop with our Chef Nicolas Boussin, Best Craftsman in France Pastry 2000, who shared with them his experience and technical skills.


Recipes from our new Christmas Collection have been produced: the Tropical Whimsy, with lemon, pineapple and basil, thought as a cocktail; The Black Forest Yule Log  that modernizes this classic, and the Cappuccino Entremets, which combines the taste and delicacy of a Viennese coffee.


A big thank you to the chefs and our Area Manager in Spain, this training was a great success!
